"Jerrod Shouse quickly learned our real estate industry, what was important to our members, and earned the trust of our association to do the job. Within one year, he made our presence at the Capitol brighter, so that our voices were heard when we advocate for the rights of property ownership in Oklahoma. "

Shouse Consulting provides a full range of services to meet your individual public affairs and business needs.
Government Relations & Lobbying
During the legislative session and throughout the year, we are engaging elected officials and key administrative staff to promote and defend your interests at the Capitol.
More Than 2,000 bills are filed each year by our legislators – and we read every single bill before session starts. We monitor them throughout the year and keep clients informed about changes affecting their interests.
Successful legislative strategies require planning and execution. We work with our clients to identify their short and long- term policy goals to outline a plan of action, and then we execute the plan.
Our clients often have policy goals that align with other organizations. We identify and reach out to other associations and businesses that may have similar interests as our clients in order to strengthen our overall position.
Legislative Interim Activities
Sometimes, the most important work happens after the legislature adjourns for the year. We attend interim hearings at the Capitol and work one-on-one with legislators to educate and prepare them for the upcoming year
The personal relationships and network we’ve developed across the state is one of our greatest strengths. As governments turn to private businesses more for solutions, we open doors and provide access to key decision makers.
"NFIB has worked with Jerrod for several years because he possesses the broad range of talents needed to effectively advocate for small business. Jerrod knows when to activate our local grassroots and he's who our Oklahoma members have come to trust as their voice at the state capitol and with the media."
